What can I say, I love organising and want to share my enthusiasm and skills to help other people make their homes and offices work in the best way for them.  Whether you live alone or in a full household of children and pets, being organised allows you to get on with the important task of enjoying life.

I'm a good listener and enjoy talking to people, building relationships and offering practical help.

I have worked in the Financial Services industry for 35 years, looking after clients, listening to their concerns, understanding their problems and working to provide a satisfactory resolution.  Above all else, giving excellent customer service.  Having managed teams of people, I understand how to enable someone to grow and develop their skills, not just to do it for them.

From a home perspective, I've moved homes 9 times, for good (and not so good reasons) and know what a stressful time it can be.  Along the way I've learned lots of tips and tricks to make it easier.  How to best present my home to ensure it looks great to potential buyers and sells quickly for a sensible price.  I'm very good at managing the whole process from start to finish; what needs to be done in the run up to moving date, sourcing removal companies, following up with solicitors, agents etc.  How best to manage what furniture and contents I'm taking with me and why.

Two of those moves involved major refurbishment work, from top to bottom.  Again, I've learned many good practices and know what to avoid.  I also know to have a plentiful supply of tea, coffee and biscuits.

Alongside that, since I was 16, I've been volunteering in various roles within the Scout and Girl Guide Association(s).  Running everything from weekly meetings, to annual camping trips for small groups, through to activities for 1800 children at an international camp in the UK, a trip to Austria for 523 scouts aged 8 to 82 (yes 82!) and twice having the honour of being Assistance Unit leader for the World Scout Jamboree, once to Thailand and once in Chelmsford!

My Core Values

  • Kindness - I will come to your home as your professional organiser, without judgement of your situation.

  • Respect - I will be respectful of your privacy and all work is carried out with total confidentiality

  • Honesty - I will be honest, should I feel I am not the right person for the job, I will say so.

I look forward to working with you.

All the best
